God's Name:

• God's Name: Adonai called Himself I AM (Exodus 3: 13-14). Before God wrote the Ten Commandments the second time. Moses said show me your Glory, God said I will proclaim the Name of the Lord (Exodus 33: 18-19). Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord (Exodus 34: 5). Then God wrote the Ten Commandments. So, His Name is the Ten Commandments. Yahshua taught us how to pray and what name to pray to. Our Father (Matthew 6: 9-13) Jesus is the proper translation from Greek to English. Feel free to use what ever Name the Holy Spirit is telling you to use. On this site we will use God, Father, Yahshua and The Holy Ghost or Spirit for common clarity for studies. 
• God's Name: The Ten Commandments are God's Character and Nature.. Moses and Aaron (1st High Priest) wrote Gods name YHWY. People call this the Tetragrammaton and when they spoke of God they call him Adonai. Later the Tetragrammaton YHWY was given vowels so it could be spoken for more accuracy. Probably not what God and Moses indented. They did this two different ways. First they used Yahweh keeping it close to the original YHWY. The second way they combined YHWY with Adonai to come up with Jehovah. God has many names be careful not to use them loosely.

Praying:  Yahshua did not teach the disciples how to preach. He taught them how to pray. Through our prayers we develop a relationship with Adonai (Yahweh) and learn His true nature of who He really is, Love.
